The course will cover how to care for pre-release brushtail possums, it's perfect for anyone wanting to support possums in that crucial end stage before they return to the wild.

This course will cover:

• Preparing possums for release

• Understanding natural behaviours

• Creating safe, suitable environments

• What to expect during the pre-release stage

No matter your experience level, this is a great opportunity to learn and get involved in a really rewarding part of wildlife care

This course is presented by our NQ Wildlife Care Species Coordinator for Possums.
The course is open to the public and registration costs apply for Members and Non-members.

This event is not suitable for children under 12 years of age as some images of injured animals are seen.
All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
